the perfect friday

*typed with one hand…sorry about the funky punctuation. going to try that new wordpress phone feature tomorrow.

the holiday weekend wasn’t all broken bones and vicodin. friday was wonderful and i would be remiss if i didn’t show you this spectacular ship.

the n.r.p. “sagres” (portugal) is docked in downtown honolulu for a short time. the officers are kind enough to allow people to board and take a look around. it’s absolutely breathtaking

the officers were so nice and answered all questions. raven jumped right in with the questions…lenore was shy at first. jon had a little pep talk and raven promised to hold her hand if she was frightened. it seemed to work.

after lenore calmed down a bit she was comfortable with the idea of posing for some pics. raven is always brave. they explored the ship with jon.

after several pictures with the crew members and exploring every inch of the ship, we headed to the courtyard in the business section. they had free ice cream sundaes, live music, balloon animals, stilt street performers, and GLITTER TATTOOS!raven had a cute idea…she got a gold lock and lenore chose a purple key. it worked well. i got a dragon but now it’s hidden behind this stupid splint.
